Caroline received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and her juris doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1984. She is a shareholder at the firm, is board certified in marital and family law, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She chaired the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Annual Institute in April 2009 and is on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chapter of the AAML.

She is Past President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and past Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Section. She has been Chair of a Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, Chair of The Florida Bar Family Law Section CLE Committee, and a member of Executive Council of the Florida Bar’s Family Law Section.

Caroline is a past President of the Centre for Women in Tampa. Her articles have been published by the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Bar, and the Family Law Commentator. She authored a chapter on "Equitable Distribution" in the Florida Bar’s Florida Dissolution of Marriage book.

Caroline has lectured on family law for numerous professional organizations, including the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Bar. She is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.

She served as an Assistant State Attorney for Hillsborough County from 1985 to 1989, when she entered the practice of family law.
